Business Situation
The Client aims at developing a website based on memberships for users, who are safe, honest and follow value of integrity. The user needs to register on the website and has to pass the screening tests i.e. a background check of the user before receiving membership. The Client felt a need to raise the bar in the Internet world by creating a community that differentiates its registered members as people of character that follow honesty and value of integrity.
Some of the challenges associated with the project were:
- PayPal pro with recurring payment
- Integration of EC2 on Amazon server
- Background check with Abso.com
- Load testing of the application
Solution
The team of developers analyzed the requirements, designed the application as per Client needs and integrated the challenges on available API.
- Developed a module which integrates recurring payment and customer can stop the recurring payment
- Integration of EC2 on Amazon server for this web application. Issue overcome was major loss of files and database on restart server
- Background Check: Here we performed background check of registered users with integrating ABSO, for this we developed module with web services to pass secured and parsed XML data to 3rd party ABSO to verify users and made it functional as of result returned
- Load Testing is one of the major outcomes of this application for accepting more than 150 users at a time and site function as very smooth
